It's almost like you spent the majority of your life in a situation where some unknowable being did inexplicable things to you against your will or something.
I think this is the first time we've seen Sans glowing white! In this case it's for shock/zoning out. There've been glimpses of it with Papyrus but this feels like the first time it's shown up for real. Blue is a self-comfort color for Sans and purple is fear, as a reminder. He's going through a lot of emotions right now.
Why does that display look so familiar...?
